This module supports type hints as specified by :pep:`484`.  The most
fundamental support consists of the type :class:`Any`, :class:`Union`,
:class:`Tuple`, :class:`Callable`, :class:`TypeVar`, and
:class:`Generic`.  For full specification please see :pep:`484`.  For
